Dr. Maisha L. Jack, International Best-Selling Author, is an educator with 20+ years’ experience specializing in supporting and cultivating relationships for general and special education students. An international speaker and owner of The Honey Butter Company, Dr. Jack is an entrepreneur whose voice and professional credibility encompasses her desire to build others up through service and the importance of representation for all. As a change agent with the hope to engage and educate community with a caring heart, Dr. Jack has authored and coauthored 9 book titles, as well as being a contributing writer in newspaper and magazine articles. Dr. Jack’s authorship ranges from devotional collaborations, a memoir that embraces healing and forgiveness, as well as two different series of children’s books with accompanying activity/coloring books.

DR. JACK LONG BIO
Amazon International #1 Best Selling Author and international speaker, Dr. Maisha L. Jack, is a wife, mother, educator, and business owner originally from Winchester, Kentucky. Excelling in basketball, track, and academics, Dr. Jack received a basketball scholarship to attend Eastern Kentucky University and played all four years with academic accolades. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies: Interdisciplinary and a minor in Special Education, Dr. Jack continued her educational path by attending Central Michigan University, where she received her master’s degree in Instruction in Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership PK-12. Dr. Jack also has her Teacher Leader Endorsement from the State of Georgia and has served students and families across not only Georgia but also in the state of Kentucky for the past 20+ years. Serving in various roles, Dr. Jack is dual certified, serving both general education and special education students, and their families. Most recently, Dr. Jack received her Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, from Trinity International University of Ambassadors, as well as receiving her Business of Entrepreneurship Coaching Certification.
Servanthood and Leadership go hand and hand, thus the leadership opportunities that Dr. Jack has been a part of have allowed her to serve both in the educational sector and within her community by volunteering with clothing donations and drives, community cleanup, breast cancer walks, GED instructing, read-aloud for children, community/school garden development and planting, and letter writing for those needing assistance.
In 2020, Dr. Jack embarked upon the start of her own company, The Honey Butter Company, LLC. With the world being hit with pandemic devastation, Dr. Jack used the time of a worldwide shutdown to embark upon a journey that propelled her not only into writing and self-publishing, but a journey of healing and forgiving, as well. Releasing her debut book, “A Day’s Journey to Jordan” in December 2020, Dr. Jack shared how overcoming obstacles helped her to not only become a better person for herself, but for others within her sphere of influence. Sharing her story propelled others into self-reflection and healing. Dr. Jack has also been one of 89 co-authors in a phenomenal #1 international best-selling devotional, “Finding Joy in the Journey” Volume 2 which was released in July 2021 with Dr. Vernessa Blackwell.
In January 2022, Dr. Jack released her first children’s book series, The Adventures of Win and Wil: The Birthday Celebration, where she received Amazon’s #1 New Release. Following the release of the children’s book, Dr. Jack also published an activity and coloring book for “The Birthday Celebration”. The second of Dr. Jack’s Amazon #1 Best Selling Author titles came from a book collaboration entitled, “Joy Comes in the Morning”, while teaming back up with Dr. Blackwell and a collaboration of other authors.
In the Fall of 2022, Dr. Jack simultaneously released the second book in her children’s series, The Adventures of Win and Wil, entitled “When We Grow Up” book and activity workbook, as well as a new children’s series entitled, “Eugene, Eugene, The Mystery Solving Machine”, where both books became #1 Amazon New Releases. As Dr. Jack’s authorship has ranged from devotional collaborations, a memoir embracing healing and forgiveness, she has also been a contributing writer in newspaper and magazine articles, while currently working with descendants of Cudjo Lewis, the last known living slave from Africatown in Mobile, Alabama.

Dr. Jack continues her quest to cultivate and build a consensus of community amongst diverse people and her passion is improving the lives of others and using her entrepreneurial platform to increase awareness that representation does matter. Partnering with companies to donate her children’s books and activity books to local families, hospitals, and churches also allowed for awareness, positivity, and representation mattering for youth to adults this past holiday season.
Residing outside the metro Atlanta area, Dr. Jack spends free time with family, gardening, watching sports, or traveling.
